Original Aliens? Why not.

The Ammun-Ritt are peaceful, highly evolved, mantis-lke beings from a distant planet. They are very social creatures, deicated to creating beauty through song and jewlery/clothing. Their concerts are renowned throughout the galaxy. They communicate through complex humming and telepathy. They have reached galactic-level travel.It's literally impossible for a human(or most other species) to learn their language. They generally have Egyptian or Latin-sounding names. Their skin is dark black in color and thier glowing markings are aqua blue and serve as identifying characteristics.
.....Oh, my God. PROPORTIONS WHY DO YOU HATE ME. I promise in their next apperancve they will be long-legged and colored (They're black and their glowy bits are aqua blue).
